I was scrolling through my Instagram dashboard the other day and came across this beautiful piece. I wanted to share it because it's something that a lot of people could relate to, as well as something a lot of people need to open up their mind to.
Society these days does nothing but put out judgement, whether they're true or false. And this piece of writing is a simple way to understand that.
who are you,
you are not a name
or a height, or a weight
or a gender
you are not an age
and you are not where you
you are your favourite books
and the songs stuck in your head
you are your thoughts
and what you eat for breakfast
on saturday mornings
you are a thousand things
but everyone chooses
to see the million things you are not
you are not
where you are from
where you're going
and i'd like
to go there
Layers. Sneakers. Sweater. Beanie. I love how this look embraces the colder seasons! Autumn and Winter my favourite of the four season. I love wearing sweaters, tights, jeans, boots and outwear because I love comfort! And those are the items I'm most comfortable in.
The sneakers originally caught my eye with this look [because comfort comes first for me]. Then when I come to look again, the retro vibe completely draws me in. I love how she incorporates a retro hairstyle, as well as the lace trimmed socks to tie the entire look together.
Simplicity is my favourite accent when it comes to putting together an outfit. And the above image is an excellent example of this. What I love even more with this outfit is the dainty details on the back of the top and the added elegance of the thrifted pearl necklace. These details add a little more of a dress-up vibe whilst still keeping the entire look simple and sweet.
CELINE!!! If I could afford to spend that much money, I wouldn't even think twice about spending it on a Celine mini luggage bag. It's adorable and I love how the stitching and zipper of the bag makes a face. But anyway, if I were to have my own Celine mini luggage bag, I would wear it with a look similar to this. I'd keep my outfit simple and dress it up with a classy handbag to tie it all together.

It's been months since I've posted here. I guess I kind of forgot about this blog since I've slowly been using my tumblr a bit more lately.
Anyway, to get straight to the point ... I still love fashion! Whether it's watching youtube videos, looking at magazines, lookbook.nu, and especially street fashion. Even though I'm not really in the city much, you can get fashion inspiration anywhere! So even though I'd love to get all dressed up and look all flashy and stylish every time I walk out of the house, it's honestly something I rarely do.
So this post will be dedicated to looks that I would wear on a daily basis. Obviously I'd dress them down to suit me specifically, especially since I'm not much of a heels kind of girl anymore.
Fashion, cuteness and comfort all put together! This is the type of outfit I'd wear when I feel like dressing up for university but still feel comfortable and be able to run when I'm trying to beat a deadline for an assignment.
Jeans and a button up are another combo that I favour. When I'm feeling a little lazy to really dress up, I opt for a button up and any bottom that would suit the occasion and I'm good to go! Button ups are lifesavers!!
