As beautiful as the setting sun,
As delicate as the morning dew,
An angel's dusting from the stars
That can turn the Earth into a frosted moon.

5 Looks: Girly & Maxi

Hey everyone!

I love maxi skirts and maxi dresses. And I wear them as many chances as I get. So here's a quick post on looks with maxi skirts/ dresses.

What draws my eye is the red. My favourite colour is red so I'm not surprised that I love this skirt!

Original image here.

This maxi skirt is so pretty! It love how it's sheer and had leg cuts.

The blue and fuchsia floral pattern of this dress definitely caught my eye.

This entire look is probably my most favourite in this post. I love the fullness of the maxi skirt and the design of the halter top.

The flowy-ness of the high-love maxi skirt probably what got me looking back at this look. These types of skirts are easy to dress up and down when you pair it with the right items and accessories.

One Hundred and One.

Hey everyone!!

Here I am again. I just realised after publishing my last post that I have reached triple digits!
That's a big 'wow' for me because it doesn't feel like I'm posted up 100 blog posts, especially since I've only been on here for about 4 months..

So I thought I'd do something a little different. Lately, I've come across some interesting quotes and riddles and what not so I thought I'd start sharing them. But.. I've already kinda started, so this 'heads up' notice is a little late..
But anyway, I'm going to start posting anything that's short (or at least kinda short) and quick to read at least once every day.

Hope you guys enjoy them. I'll try to keep it interesting and not always post things that are sort of similar, unless I've decided to do some sort of 'theme' for that week or something.

So yeah, that's all for now!
Take care guys!!

6 Looks: Ebony & Ivory.

Hey guys!

So here's more looks that I'm liking from Lookbook.nu. I've decided that today I'd focus on looks that are a little minimal; hence, the black and white colour palettes.
Not all are strictly limited to 'b&w', but pretty much the foundation of the entire look.

Hope you guys enjoy!!

I love the lace shorts. I believe lace shorts are trending for Spring and that's why there's so many looks and youtube fashion videos/tutorials on how to dress them and what not.
Now, I love trends, but trends are something a girl would share with other girls. And since I don't exactly have much friends, much less, spend time with them to talk about trends, I don't really think I'd end up buying my own pair of lace shorts this coming Spring.
But nevertheless, I love this look and it's so simple yet elegant eye-catching.

This dress would  be a must-have for me. It's simple and has a flattering silhouette. It would also be easy dress it up or down depending on what items and accessories you'd pair it with.

Original image here.

This look is so laid back yet it kind of hits you in the face. The horizontal print of the pants paired with the jaw-dropping backless top are definitely an ideal pairing. And the mustard beanie gives the look that extra-edgy 'pop' of colour.

Original image here.

What can I say .. Collared statement necklace. Pearls. Dress. And most of all, Flats!
I'm also liking the envelope clutch, even though I probably wouldn't get one for myself. It is yet another trend, and also because I prefer to have my hands free without having to hold my bag around everywhere I go: I lose things easily.

Original image here.

Plainly saying that I love the dress doesn't even seem so suffice ..

The pleated & high-waisted skirt as well as the white button-up top with gold-tipped embellishments is to die for. Not to mention the floral patterned blazer!!

Quick Post 8.

Hey everyone.

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I was going to write about a new topic on relationships: "How to cope/move on after a break up."
I apologise for I haven't quite started on that yet, and well, someone wrote in my Tumblr Ask Box that it wasn't a good topic to write about because no one would relate to it.
So I thought that I should change the topic up a bit.
I see from people posting on social networks that there are times when someone is left feeling 'unwanted'. So this got me thinking that I should write a "How to:" relating to self-esteem. I guess because the root of feeling 'unwanted' would relate mostly to a person not thinking enough of themselves.

So let me know if this would be a good topic.
Direct message me through Twitter: @KirstyCamille
Facebook message me.
Or for those wanted to stay anonymous, write a comment/question/statement in my Tumblr Ask Box.

Oh, also, if you feel that you're in a situation where you may want a more specific answer/reply to, post those through my Tumblr Ask Box and remain 'anonymous' for your own privacy. I'm sure there are people out there that don't want others to know about their personal situations, I myself am one. So I would suggest to try not to use names, but if you really need to, change the names or make up a random name.

Take care guys!!

Quick Post 7 & 7 Looks: Pop That Collar.

Hey everyone,

So, I've been M.I.A again. Sorry!! I think I just wasn't up for blogging and whatnot.
And even though I'm on Twitter everyday, I actually haven't even been tweeting much. Like, I do tweet, and also re-tweet every now and then, but I don't really say much about anything anymore ...

Oh well, I'm here now and hopefully I'll post a little more since I'm on Winter break from university until August.
Man, I'm happy that Autumn semester is done! Don't get me wrong, I love university and I especially enjoyed my unit this semester, but I'm still happy it's all done... for the next few months anyway.

This is just another quick post as well as looks I'm liking from Lookbook.nu. I realised that all the looks below have a collar (unintentional but all good because I love collars), so I thought I'd add a little something to the title instead of just "#number Looks".

So,
Enjoy!!

I love the top and the patterned shorts.
And I love the colour palette but, I think nude shoes would give it that extra pop instead of black.
Other than that, this look is perfect!

Original image here.

What caught my eye were the shoes. I'm a flats person, but I love the height that platforms give me. That's why every time I'm out and I pass I shoe store, I always scan for a pair of platform flats that I could wear out everyday, as well as the places/events that require a little more 'glam'.

Original image here.

I love this look. It's simple yet edgy.
And despite the dark colours, I really think it would stand out in a crowd.
Accessories amplify a look and bring out hints of individuality.

Original image here.

What I love about this look is the perfect pairing of the patterns and how they compliment each other really well.
I also adore her statement necklace as well as the subtle braid in her up-do.

Original image here.

Cute and Preppy.
I love these kinds of looks! And this look is perfect in every way.

Original image here.

Her statement necklace WOWs me! It's so beautiful and the design of it seems so simple yet with intricate detailing. To me, it looks like it's two sparrows holding the top piece of a lake reed or something.
I'm also liking her coat. And of course, the layered collar of her blouse and the camel-buckled detailing of the ankle booties.

Original image here.

Again, her statement necklace, which is also a collar, is so cute!
The floral patterned body-con dress is also pretty, but I especially love the double strap platforms.

Personally Me: Cold.

The weather these past few days have just been ridiculously cold!!
Don't get me wrong, I love the cold, but lately I haven't quite been able to cope as well.

Today, I finally had a proper catch up with my friend Shelby from high school and I also got to spend time with my sister.
What was also great about today was that I bought new shoes. Yay! The snake skin loafers from DSW were on sale for $19. So I asked my mister whether or not I should buy them, and the perfect man that he is, he told me to think about it first. He knows that sometimes I buy things out of impulse so he told me to wait a while and if I still wanted them before I started to make my way home, then I should buy them. And I still wanted them. They were pretty much half price, so I thought I might as well. I even wore them to church tonight because I was so excited :)

I also did a little thrift shopping today. I was able to find a jacket. Well, it's kind of like a blazer, just without a collar and the sleeves aren't structured like a blazer. They sleeves a little flowy and they have buttons to close them. So I guess it's more like a top. But anyway, I'm really happy with my find.

I also found a black leather belt with beautiful rose clasps. They're a rusted gold colour and it was $2.50. So all in all, I spent only $5.50 on a top and belt!

Oh, this is my new pill/vitamin case! I think it's cute :) $1.90 at Iristar and it holds a pretty good amount of vitamin tablets. So now, when I forget to take them at home, I can still take my vitamins on-the-go and my mother won't get angry at me.

Anyway, I hope everyone's been doing great. It's half way through the week, so keep you're head up. The weekend isn't too far away :)

Oh, before I forget, I've posted another look for the outfit that I wore today. I was also wearing a black and grey hooded jacket but it was getting a little warm inside the shopping centre so I took it off. Hope you guys like it! Click here to see my look for today and here for my page.

Take care everyone!

4 Looks: Girly and Flirty.

Hey guys,

Here's another post of looks from Lookbook.nu.
I should mention now that most of these looks will be outfits which I find girly and/or flirty.
I hope you enjoy!!

Original image here.

The colour is what caught my attention. Maroon and burgundy to me, are timeless colours.
I love the Peter Pan collar necklace, the floral headband, the sleeves of the top and the subtle cut lengths of the front and back of the shorts.

Original image here.

I personally am not a fan of midi-length skirts and dresses on myself because they aren't flattering to my figure, but the pleats and green of this dress is beautiful.
I love the fact that you the dress is dressed-down with a thin tan belt and the denim vest. It brings gives a girly yet casual vibe to the whole look.

Original image here.

This high-low dress is so pretty. I like it even more because it is sheer ad the back which gives it more of a spring feel.

Original image here.

This look is probably my favourite and it makes me want a pair of lace shorts even more!
I loved the coral collared top and the wedges add a sense of comfort to outfit.
